Wie bereits berichtet, haben CDU und SPD am vergangenen Donnerstag das Gesetz zur Sperrung von Internetseiten mit kinderpornographischen Inhalten und der damit verbundenen Schaffung einer Infrastruktur für eine allgemeine Internetzensur verabschiedet. Die Reaktionen darauf vielen nicht nur im redKite Blog sehr kritisch aus. Ich habe die Auswirkungen einmal hier zusammengefasst.
Deutschlandweite Demonstrationen am vergangenen Samstag
Am Samstag kam es, leider kaum in den Medien vertreten, zu deutschlandweiten Protestdemonstrationen gegen die Zensur von Internetsperren. Die Demonstrationen wurden von Mitgliedern und Sympathisanten der Piratenpartei organisiert und standen unter dem Motto „Löschen statt Sperren“. Dafür, dass die Demonstrationen doch sehr kurzfristig zu Stande gekommen sind, hatten sich in den Städten insgesamt einige Hundert Menschen auf die Straße begeben.
Im Blog von Christian Boris Schmidt gibt es ein Video von der Demonstration in Berlin. Dabei wird auch schon auf die nächste Demonstration am 12.09.2009 in Berlin unter dem Motto „Freiheit statt Angst“ hingewiesen.
Erster Pirat im Bundestag
Bereits am Freitag gegen Abend gab es Gerüchte, dass der Bundestagsabgeordnete der SPD, Jörg Tauss , aufgrund der Missachtung von Bürgerrechten in seiner Partei den Austritt in Erwägung ziehe. Klarheit verschaffte er am Samstag auf der Kundgebung der Demonstration gegen Zensur in Berlin. Dort bestätigte er den Austritt und bot der Piratenpartei seine zukünftige Unterstützung an. Die Piratenpartei hat mittlerweile seine Aufnahme begrüßt. Zum momentanen Verfahren, dass noch gegen Tauss läuft gilt die Unschuldsvermutung bis das Gegenteil bewiesen ist. Tauss selber denkt, dass dieses bald eingestellt wird.
Grüne kritisieren Enthaltung ihrer Bundestagsabgeordneten
Viele Mitglieder, auch in höheren Positionen, kritisieren das Verhalten der 15 grünen Bundestagsabgeordneten, die sich bei der Abstimmung enthalten zu haben. Aus diesem Grund wurde bei den Grünen eine Parteipetition gestartet. Bei den Bundestagsabgeordneten ist wohl noch dringend Aufklärung erforderlich. Jedes Mitglied und Nicht-Mitglied kann die gPetition hier unterstützen.
