Auf der US-Seite von Google werden bei der Schaltung von Werbeanzeigen auch die Bewertungen aus der Google Produktsuche mit angezeigt. Es ist wohl nur noch eine Frage der Zeit, bis dieses Feature auch in Deutschland aktiviert wird. Händler sollten auf den Start vorbereitet sein, um dann rechtzeitig von den Vorteilen profitieren zu können.
Die Google Produktsuche ist entweder in der vertikalen Suche, durch den Link Shopping, erreichbar oder durch eine Integration der Suchergebnisse in der Universal Search. Shop-Betreiber können sich für die Produktsuche anmelden und müssen dann einen Product Feed für Google erstellen und einreichen. Die Shop-Bewertungen werden nicht direkt bei Google abgegeben. Google aggregiert die Bewertungen verschiedener Bewertungsportale wie zum Beispiel Dooyoo.de, Shopvote.de, Cheap-Charlie. Die einzelnen Bewertungen werden zusammengefasst und dann als Sterndarstellung angezeigt (1-5 Sterne).
Erscheint die Anzeige im Premiumbereich, so wird neben der Bewertungsskala auch die Anzahl der Bewertungen mit angegeben. Bei der Anzeige im rechten Bezahlbereich erscheint nur die Bewertungsskala. Mit einem Klick auf rated oder reviews kommt man auf die Bewertungsseite der Google Produktsuche.
Zusätzlich zu der Sternenskala erscheint nun eine Aufteilung in verschiedene Balken, die den Anteil der einzelnen Bewertungen nach Sternanzahl anzeigt. Möchte man den ganzen Bewertungstext lesen, so gelangt man auf das jeweilige Bewertungsportal.
Vorteile
Noch ein recht geringer Anteil an Online-Shops in Deutschland nutzt die Möglichkeiten der Google Produktsuche. Wer in der Produktsuche erscheint und zugleich AdWords schaltet kann doppelt profitieren.
Zum einen bietet die Google Produktsuche eine weitere Möglichkeit kostenlos Traffic auf den eigenen Shop zu leiten. Die Einreichung eines Product Feeds bei Google ist kostenlos. Die anschließenden Klicks verursachen, wie im organischen Bereich der Suchmaschine, keine Kosten.
Zum anderen sticht, durch die Darstellung der Sterne, die AdWords Anzeige mehr ins Auge. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer besseren Click-Through-Rate steigt, da noch nicht alle Shops diese Möglichkeit nutzen. Eine bessere Click-Through-Rate (CTR) kann den Qualitätsfaktor steigern. Da der Qualitätsfaktor einen großen Einfluss auf den Klickpreis für die Anzeigen hat, können dadurch die Klickpreise für die Anzeigen sinken.
Gefahren
Liegen die Bewertungen des Online-Shops eher im unteren Bereich, so kann eine zusätzliche Darstellung der Bewertungen in den Anzeigen die CTR sinken lassen. Wer will schon bei einem Shop mit schlechter Bewertung kaufen? Eine schlechtere CTR kann wiederum einen schlechteren Qualitätsfaktor und somit einen höheren Klickpreis für die Anzeige zur Folge haben. Zudem steigt durch einen schlechteren Qualitätsfaktor auch das Mindestgebot zur Anzeige der Anzeige an.
Wer schlechte Bewertungen hat, sollte diese ernst nehmen und die Kritik positiv aufnehmen. Eine Qualitätssteigerung kann sehr schnell das Meinungsumfeld ändern und positive Bewertungen hervorrufen.
Sobald der Bewertungstext voll angezeigt werden soll, gelangt man auf die Seite des entsprechenden Bewertungsportals. Geht der potentielle Käufer nun nicht mehr zurück zur Google Suche, so muss ein entsprechender Link zum Shop auf der Bewertungsseite des Bewertungsportals vorhanden sein. Der Einsprung kann hier jedoch nicht, wie bei Google AdWords mit angegeben werden. Meistens verlinken diese Portale direkt auf die Startseite. Ein gezielter Einsprung ist so nicht möglich und man muss sich darauf verlassen, dass der Kunde den richtigen Weg findet.
Fazit
Hat der Online-Shop positive Bewertungen, so sollte der Google Porduct Feed genutzt werden, um jetzt noch den geringen Wettbewerb dort zu nutzen. Die geringe Teilnahme von Händlern an der Google Produktsuche kann sich zudem durch Hervorheben der Anzeige positiv auf die CTR, den Klickpreis und somit auch möglichen Konversionen auswirken. Es ist wohl nur eine Frage der Zeit bis die Integration der Shop-Bewertungen auch auf Google Deutschland eingesetzt wird. Vorbereitungen durch die Teilnahme an der Google Produktsuche und ein Anreizsystem für Bewertungen sollten schon einmal erfolgen.
